How do music classes affect a person?

First of all, they reveal, form, and develop music abilities (hearing, voice, sense of rhythm, coordination abilities, etc.)

Secondly, music classes help to organize psychophysiological abilities and educate feelings (sensation, perception, emotional reaction to music and so on).

Thirdly, knowledge, competence, and skills about certain things are acquired and accumulated through playing an instrument and singing, and so on. Namely, these certain things are: music and musicians, methods of playing musical instruments and singing, expressiveness of musical instruments and voice on the way of creating and discovery of an artistic and musical image, and creative discoveries.

Fourth of all, a person changes under the influence of the all above mentioned: he/she senses brightly, feels more accurately, perceives more figuratively, comprehends deeply, reacts flexibly, and starts to understand the world around them and to feel themselves in the world.  

And if the conversation with music happens at a music school under the guidance of experienced, sensitive, and attentive pedagogues, the result from such interaction will be regular.

These words could be easily attributed to the pedagogic staff of the Children’s Music School named after A.K.Glazunov in Moscow under the guidance of the Honoured Cultural Worker of the Russian Federation Zaharova N.P. Here, the joy from creative communication with the art of music has been always prevailing. Almost 60 years (since 1957) many young musicians have been considering this school as a source of inspiration and the native home. The school is a kind assistant to its children’s parents and a wise adviser to the school teachers. There are many wonderful people among the school teachers: honoured cultural workers of the RF – Timofeeva O.V., Chustova L.I., honoured artists of the RF and Republic of Tatarstan – Kachura E.Y. and Vymyatnina T.N., honorary cultural workers – Isaeva N.A., Fedorova N.D., Galkovskaya L.A., Andreykin S.B., Gerasimenko I.B., Kiselev N.I. and many other pedagogues with long practical experience.
