We have been celebrating the Great Victory for 70 years, but still we open new pages of its history, we find out about the heroes who took part in its battles, costing their lives to protect freedom and the independence of the Homeland. And every time we become acquainted with new names, we can’t fail to admire their courage, endurance, their will to live and triumph over the enemy.

It would seem that after 70 years nothing remains to be studied, and that many articles have been written about each veteran. But suddenly something unknown turns up: wonderful people live next door, treasure there in front of you, and it would be rude simply to hurry by, not opening this treasure, learning its value. An amazing married couple — Didenko Zoya Galeevna and Nikolay Grigoryevich has been modestly living in Maryino, Moscow with children and grandchildren. Their combined age is 188 years, they’ve been married for 71 years, both are veterans of the Great Patriotic War, they were at the war together, - a fact that is worthy the Guinness Book of Records. Nikolay Grigoryevich is a professor of department of political economy and military economy of Military-Political Academy of V. I. Lenin, and Zoya Galeevna is already retired, but still she is among honorable defenders of the Homeland, veterans of the World War II, and they are preparing to celebrate the 70^th anniversary of the Victory.
